What is LIFE?
LIFE Conference is a week-long gathering of thousands of Alliance youth with a focus on Jesus Christ through worship, scripture, and community. LIFE takes place one every three years.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR LIFE
Registration forms are due to Leah Potter (or the Dorseyville Alliance Church office) by October 27th. We will continue to accept registration forms until November 3rd, but the registration cost will increase (your student will have to fundraise more).
You will need to submit these three registration forms, along with the $150 registration deposit (cash or check made out to Dorseyville Alliance Church). Parents will receive a receipt of payment once our church leaders have officially registered students for LIFE.
Total Cost estimate: $1,100
Don’t let cost keep you from going. We will have plenty of fundraising opportunities throughout the year. We were able to fundraise the full amount for our most recent LIFE Conference (in 2022).
Students are expected to submit a deposit of $150 at the time of their registration (by October 27th). There will be an opportunity to earn this deposit back through fundraising (See below for more information. Students who register for the trip, but back out later on, are not eligible for this offer). All payments should be made to Dorseyville Alliance Church.
*If you are interested in going to LIFE, but are unable to pay the initial $150 deposit, please reach out to Leah or the DAC office no later than October 20th. We don’t want cost to be a hindrance for anyone!
FUNDRAISING
Numerous fundraising events will be offered throughout the year. The funds raised at any given event will be divided equally among students who participated.
If a student fundraises more than the total amount required for the trip, then they are able to be reimbursed for part or all of their $150 deposit. Excess funds after this point will go towards the cost of students with a remaining balance and/or will be put towards LIFE 2028 costs.
